What is a FREE PUZZLE LIBRARY?
An open, sharing, welcoming community puzzle exchange station
Just Like Little Free Library
Inspired by the Little Free Library movement, we're bringing this heartwarming concept to the puzzle world. Neighbors can take a puzzle, complete it, and return it or bring a new one to share.
Zero-Cost Community Connection
No membership fees. No purchase required. Just a shared love of puzzles and a desire to connect with neighbors. Take one, share one, or simply enjoy knowing your community has a welcoming space.
Sustainable Puzzle Ecosystem
Keep puzzles in circulation instead of collecting dust. Reduce waste, share joy, and give completed puzzles a second, third, or tenth life with new puzzle enthusiasts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Puzzle Library program
Who can apply for a FREE PUZZLE LIBRARY?
Anyone with a safe, accessible outdoor space! Homeowners, apartment complexes, HOAs, community centers, schools, libraries, and local businesses are all welcome to apply. We prioritize locations that are visible, welcoming, and serve diverse communities.
Do I need HOA approval?
Yes, if your community has an HOA, please confirm permission before applying. We've found most HOAs welcome "Little Free Library" type community projects. You can show your HOA our brand materials and community impact case studies to help get approval.
How do I stock my library with puzzles?
Start with your own completed puzzles! Then encourage neighbors to donate. We also provide a starter pack of 3-5 puzzles with your kit. Many ambassadors find puzzles at thrift stores, garage sales, or receive donations from community members.
What if puzzles go missing or aren't returned?
That's part of the sharing spirit! Some puzzles will move on to other homes permanently, and that's okay. The goal is circulation and community connection, not a lending library with strict returns. Most ambassadors find their libraries stay naturally stocked through community donations.
Can I customize my library cabinet?
Absolutely! While we provide branded stickers, you're welcome to paint, decorate, or personalize your cabinet to match your home or community aesthetic. Many ambassadors add personal touches, seasonal decorations, or community artwork.
